Join us for a "Drive-In" Family Movie Night at the CSD Community Center THIS Thursday, August 4th! Bring your own decorated box car and enjoy the movie "Lilo and Stich", rated PG! Doors open at 5:30pm. Movie starts at 5:45pm. Entrance is $2 per person and includes freshly popped popcorn and a juice! To purchase your tickets, click here.

CP Family Festival is BACK! Celebrate the end of summer with us on August 12th, at Rasmussen Park. Live music with Dick Larson will start off at 6pm. While you are enjoying the music, grab a bite from Holy Grail BBQ, Papi's Kitchen, Snowie King and/or Sugarhouse Cotton Candy and play some games in the park. Lastly, at 8:15pm we will be showing "Bad Guys" (rated PG). This event is FREE to attend, donations accepted, and proceeds support the Recreation Participant Fund!

Elvis Presley is coming to Cameron Park! On Thursday, August 25th at 7pm, join us at the CSD Community Center to see Elvis Presley impersonator, Rob Ely, perform classic songs from the “King of Rock and Roll”. Concert begins at 7pm, please purchase your tickets in advance! You can purchase over the phone, in the front office or online, by clicking here!





Cooking with Kids: New session of Cooking with Kids starts August 16th! Class takes place every Tuesday from 4-5pm in the CSD’s Commercial Kitchen. Make delicious summertime treats such as strawberry shortcakes and meatball subs while learning kitchen safety! This class is perfect for children between the ages of 4-14. To register, click here.

New Taekwondo Classes starting August 15th! For only $49 get 4 weeks of classes, plus a FREE t-shirt! Classes range from 4 years old to senior citizens. At the CP Family Taekwondo Academy, we help students with personal development- physically, emotionally, and mentally. A evaluation class will be scheduled before the first day of class,  For more information, click here

New Pool Hours:

Starting August 7th through the 27th, Recreation Swim will be held on Saturday and Sundays ONLY from 1pm-4pm. Recreation Swim will be closed August 13th. *Please note, hours are subject to change due to staffing, air quality, or other unforeseen circumstance.

New Lap Swim hours starting August 8th! Monday through Thursday, 6am-7am and Sundays, 7am to 8am. Advance registration is required. $4 per person or $2 with an annual pass.

Private swim lessons are closed for the season.

  • Quilters Club, Wednesdays , 9am-12pm


The CPCSD Community Center remains one of the serving locations for the El Dorado County Senior Nutrition Program. To participate in this lunch option, please follow this procedure:

  1. Contact the Senior Nutrition program at (530) 621-6160 to reserve your meal. You must call before 9:00am on the day you wish to pick up your meal.
  2. If you are leaving a message, please provide your full name, phone number, and the site where you want to pick up your meal. (Cameron Park Community Center).
  3. Meals can be picked up between 11:00 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Monday - Friday.
  4. You will be required to sign for your lunch.


Cameron Park Lake Kiosk Hours

The Kiosk will remain open daily throughout the year as staffing and weather allows. The kiosk accepts cash or annual pass to enter the lake.

El Dorado Disposal

Due to Senate Bill 1383, organic waste will now be collected in your Yard & Waste cart every other week on your regularly scheduled yard waste week. Organic waste includes food waste, food-soiled paper, and yard waste. This will begin after August 1st. For the collection schedule visit,
