The Cameron Park Lake recreation area, located at 2989 Cambridge Rd in Cameron Park, is a man-made lake created in 1951. The Community Services District took over the lake in 1975 and continues to provide enjoyment, relaxation, and beauty to all visitors. This recreation facility offers a 1.1-mile walking path, catch and release fishing, an 18-hole disc golf course, tennis courts, a playground, paved parking, and a Gazebo with picnic areas that are available to reserve for your special event. Dogs are not permitted at this park, except for service animals.

Community Update: Cameron Park Lake Parking Arm

We are pleased to share that the robotic parking arm at Cameron Park Lake is now fully operational! After working diligently to resolve a few initial challenges, we are excited to announce that the system will officially go live beginning at 6:00 AM on Monday, September 1, 2025.

We sincerely thank our community members and visitors for their patience, support, and understanding throughout this process. Your cooperation has been greatly appreciated, and we look forward to continuing to provide a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained experience at Cameron Park Lake.

Lake Fees

Entrance fees will be charged year-round, and the fees will help fund the ongoing maintenance of the park. The entrance fee will apply to any vehicle entering the park, including those using the Disc Golf Course.  The cost of entry is $5.50 per vehicle, payable by credit card only, OR is included with an Annual Pass. We highly recommend the purchase of an Annual Pass as the fees generated support the many amenities provided by the Cameron Park Community Services District and provide the purchaser with additional benefits.
