New Registration Program
We're gradually moving our registration and facility rentals to a brand-new platform designed to make signing up for activities, programs, and events simple and user-friendly. We've started the process with annual pass purchases/renewals and are now testing April class registrations. This new platform will even allow you to make facility reservations online! More details, helpful how-to information, and direct registration links will be coming very soon. We are expecting a full transition in May. Thank you for your patience as we make this change happen!
Rec Refresh Now Open!
We’re excited to announce the grand opening of our brand‑new concession stand, the Rec Refresh — just in time for spring fun! Whether you’re spending the afternoon at the pool, cheering on a game, or enjoying one of our community events, you can now grab tasty snacks, cool drinks, and quick treats without leaving the action. The Rec Refresh is designed to make your visit more convenient and enjoyable, offering family‑friendly favorites and seasonal specials. Stop by, say hello, and enjoy a little extra flavor during your spring adventures in Cameron Park.
Upcoming April Events
Spring Craft Faire
Get ready for one of Cameron Park’s favorite events — the 2026 Spring Craft Fair is back and bursting with local talent! Join us on Sunday, April 12, from 9 AM to 3 PM at the Cameron Park Community Center, where you’ll discover unique, handcrafted treasures perfect for the season ahead. This small‑but‑mighty fair is packed with charm, creativity, and community spirit, featuring one‑of‑a‑kind items made by local artisans. It’s the perfect family outing to kick off spring, support local makers, and find something special you won’t see anywhere else.
Community Clean-Up
Roll up your sleeves and join your neighbors for Cameron Park’s Spring 2026 Community Clean‑Up on Saturday, April 18, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Camerado Middle School’s parking lot. This annual event is a great way to clear out unwanted items, tidy up your yard, and dispose of bulk materials responsibly — all free for Cameron Park residents.
In partnership with El Dorado Disposal, the Rotary Club of Cameron Park, and El Dorado County Environmental Management, the clean‑up offers convenient drop‑off for approved items, plus used bike collection by the Rotary Club. CSD staff and volunteers will be on-site to help direct traffic, and donations to the CSD Scholarship Fund are welcome.
It’s a simple, meaningful way to refresh your home and support a cleaner, greener community this spring.

Wildfire Mitigation Inspections
With warmer temperatures, the start of fire season is near, and it is dependent on the Cameron Park community to start preparing to reduce wildfire risk throughout our area. Beginning May 4th, inspections of unimproved properties will commence to ensure compliance with defensible space and vegetation management requirements. In advance of these inspections, initial notices will be mailed to all unimproved property owners outlining expectations and key dates. These efforts are critical in helping protect lives, property, and the overall safety of our community. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining your property and doing your part to reduce wildfire risk.

Happy Easter Cameron Park!
It’s that time of the year when many of us prepare our yards for spring flowers, improve on fence lines, frontages and landscape.
With these outdoor improvements, there are a few things to be mindful of.
April Burn Period:
Cameron Park has a burn ordinance that restricts burn days to the first 2 weeks of April and the first two weeks in December. These are the only burn periods allowed in Cameron Park. Please visit the Cameron Park CSD website under the Fire Department tab for instructions on permissible burn periods. To burn, it must be a burn for El Dorado County. Residents are allowed to burn leaves, branches and debris from the yard the first 2 weeks of April only.
Architectural Review (ARC):
If you are planning on exterior improvements, adjusting fence lines or installing a structure like a shed, gazebo or landscape, you need to apply for ARC approval. All exterior improvements or changes to your existing structures require this approval. If you complete a project without ARC approval, you may receive a complaint or violation to correct the project or get your approval at double the review fee. Both will be costly and could result in additional penalties. Applications for your new project are on our website.
Recreational & Trailered Items:
Planning a boat or recreational trailer trip? Make sure your trailered items are not blocking streets, neighbor’s driveways, mailboxes, fire hydrants etc. We also need to be aware that we can stage our trailered vehicles for 48 hours in most neighborhoods before and after a trip. Please do not exceed these allowances. Residents complete online complaints that are filed with your property address which will trigger an investigation. These violations stay on your file for as long as you own your home. You can avoid these complaints. When you’re done staging, return your trailered items to your storage area. All trailered items including cargo trailers must be stored in accord with your neighborhood CC&Rs. Your CC&Rs are available on our website.
ARC & CC&R Committee Volunteers: The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) and the Covenants Conditions and Restrictions Committee (CC&R) have 1 opening on each committee. If you would like to serve your community on a regular committee, please check out our website. The volunteer section will provide guidance on how to get involved and apply.
Thank you to all our residents that practice diligence in keeping our community so special.
