Halloween Boo Bash is Back! On Friday, October 21st, join us for a SPPOK-TACULAR time starting at 5pm! Event activities include, Trunk or Treat, Halloween Carnival and Cake Walk, Costume Contest at 6:15pm (enter to win a gift card to the CSD!) and Food Vendors! First arm length of tickets is FREE. If you would like to purchase additional tickets, we are only accepting cash.

NEW PROGRAMMING

NEW CLASSES: Let’s Uke and Intro Guitar! Join us on Monday nights to learn Uke or Guitar. Classes start October 17, 2022. Find information and to register by clicking here.  

Cooking with Adults classes are starting October 11th. These classes are designed to make you feel confident in the kitchen and you’ll learn recipes that you can make at home in an hour or less! Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-7pm. To register, click here

New Ballet Session starts October 14th! The CSD offers three different levels of Ballet classes: Baby Ballet, Pre-Ballet, and Ballet I! Click here to view more class details and registration!

New Cooking with Kids session starts October 11th! This class keeps growing in popularity and we can see why! Your child will learn kitchen and food safety AND enjoy a meal or dessert that they can enjoy in class and bring home to share with family! Spots are limited, so don’t wait to sign up! Skyhawk Sports kick off the fall season starting October 25th! Both Soccertots (ages 2-5) and Flag Football (ages 5-12) will be held at Christa McAuliffe Park. To view session times and additional information, click here.

Skills-n-Drills Basketball Program returns Tuesday, October 4th. This class is designed for all ability levels to help your child develop in all area’s basketball has to offer! Don't miss this great opportunity to enhance your aspiring athlete(s) on court experience! Participants can also participate in a one-day tournament each session. Further details given at start of class. For the ages of 5-11. Register here.

Charcuterie Class returns on October 20th! Bring your own wine to sip while you learn and build you charcuterie board! $75 per person or $100 for 2 people. Register here!

Adult Basketball League is starting November 1st! Games are held on Tuesday nights starting at 6pm. Please visit the Adult Basketball League Page to review all league handbooks, processes, and the registration form. Deadline to submit your team is October 26th.

AQUATICS

Did you know that our pool is heated to a lovely 82 degrees? What a warm welcome during our on-going morning lap swim and Water Fitness classes.  You won’t want to miss out! More information here!

COMMUNITY NEWS

El Dorado Disposal

On September 17, 2022, El Dorado Disposal, with the help and support of Cameron Park CSD and the Cameron Park Fire and Fire Explorers, was able to have a free community clean-up event held at Camerado Middle School.  At this event, they hauled 9 tons of mixed loose waste(trash), 1 ton of yard waste, and 2 tons of recycling. It was a great event!

Cameron Park Library

Check out the events and activities at the Cameron Park Library! Two great special events this month, ADULT - EVENING OF TINY ART Thursday, October 27th @ 5:30-7:00 pm and SIERRA WILDLIFE RESCUE DEMONSTRATION Tuesday, October 25th @ 5:30 pm.
