Inspections

To request a Fire & Life Safety Inspection for new businesses, follow the steps below:

Apply with the El Dorado County Tax Collector's Office prior to requesting a Fire & Life Safety Inspection
Complete the Fire & Life Safety Inspection Request Form
Email it to cpfdprevention@cameronpark.org
A representative from our department will then contact you to schedule an inspection.
Prior to Fire & Life Safety inspection, utilize one of the checklists below based on occupancy type:

To request an inspection for a construction permit, email cpfdprevention@cameronpark.org with the following details:

Subject line: "Inspection Request"-type of inspection-address-permit # (ex: Inspection Request-Fire Final-3200 Country Club Dr-#0123456)
Provide contact information (name, phone number and email)
Provide brief description of inspection requested (ex: Requesting fire final inspection for tenant improvement)

- Underground LPG
- Outdoor assembly event
- Residential fire final

To request any other type of inspection, email cpfdprevention@cameronpark.org with the following details:

Provide contact information (name, phone number and email)
Provide brief description of inspection requested (ex: Requesting fire final inspection for tenant improvement)
