Residential - New Construction and/or Remodel- R3

For new construction or remodels, follow the steps below:

• Apply with the El Dorado County Building Division to obtain a permit number
• Complete the  Plan Review Application
• Complete the R3 Plot Plan Requirements Checklist
• Prepare a digital civil plot plan in pdf format
• Email to cpfdprevention@cameronpark.org with the following:
  • Subject line: "Plan Review" -project type-address (or APN # if no address)-El Dorado County building permit # (ex: Plan Review- Residential Remodel -2502 Country Club Dr,  #0123456).

Applications and supporting documents must be submitted digitally in pdf format.

Commercial/Multi-Family/Civil Improvement/Tenant Improvement 

For commercial, multi-family, civil improvements, or tenant improvements, follow the steps below:

• Apply for a building permit with the El Dorado County Building Division
• Complete the  Plan Review Application
• Prepare a digital plan set in pdf format
• Email to cpfdprevention@cameronpark.org with the following:
  • Subject line: "Plan Review" -project type-address (or APN # if no address)-El Dorado County building permit # (ex: Plan Review- Tenant Improvement -2502 Country Club Dr,  #0123456).

Applications and supporting documents must be submitted digitally in pdf format.

Fire Flow Requests and Initial Consultation

For fire flow requests, please follow the steps below:

• Complete the Fire Flow/Initial Consultation Application
• Email to cpfdprevention@cameronpark.org with the following:
  • Subject line: Request type-address and APN # - (ex: Fire Flow Request-  2502 Country Club Dr APN# 123-123-123)

Applications and supporting documents must be submitted digitally in pdf format.

Fire Alarm/Fire Sprinkler/Commercial Hood reviews

• Apply for a building permit with the El Dorado County Building Division for non-deferred submittals 
• Complete the  Plan Review Application
• Prepare a digital plan set in pdf format
• Prepare a digital listing sheet set in pdf format
• Email to cpfdprevention@cameronpark.org with the following:
  • Subject line: "Plan Review" -project type-address -El Dorado County building permit # (ex: Plan Review- Fire Alarm -2502 Country Club Dr,  #0123456).

Applications and supporting documents must be submitted digitally in pdf format.

Other plan reviews

• Complete the  Plan Review Application
• Prepare a digital plan set in pdf format
• Prepare a digital listing sheet set in pdf format (if applicable)
• Email to cpfdprevention@cameronpark.org with the following:
  • Subject line: "Plan Review" -project type-address (or APN # if no address)(ex: Plan Review- Outdoor Assembly Event -2502 Country Club Dr).

Applications and supporting documents must be submitted digitally in pdf format.
