CC&R and Architectural Office
CC&R: Yard Maintenance:
We hope you all are enjoying a fun and safe summer!
Staff would like to remind residents about keeping up their yards as the fire season is already upon us. While most neighborhoods do not have a landscape requirement, we all have the responsibility of keeping our weeds down. Please make sure your front and back yards are kept trimmed down. All dead matter should be cleaned up, trimmed back, or removed. Debris piles need to be removed, and weeds need to be cut to the ground. Feel free to review our website under the “Fire Dept” tab and click on “Prevention”. There you will find the weed and rubbish abatement requirements as well as defensible space requirements. If you have any questions or concerns, you can email cpfdprevention@cameronpark.org for more information.
Architectural Review Committee: (Newsletter and Next-Door blast).
The CSD is still requesting volunteers to be on our ARC review committee. This is a committee of our neighbors that serves to review new projects in the Cameron Park District. We do not review violations in this committee. The ARC Committee meets every two weeks to review jobs. This meeting is at 8:30 AM on the CSD campus of Country Club Dr. We appreciate our community and ask for our residents’ support in volunteering for this important committee to assist with property improvements in our community.
As a reminder to residents, you are required to get a Cameron Park ARC approval for all exterior improvements to your property. The ARC approval is required even if a county permit is not required. It is especially important to protect your project from complaints or even removal or changes to the project at the owner’s expense. The ARC approval of your projects is required in your CC&Rs.
Thank you for keeping Cameron Park a special place to live.

El Dorado Disposal
El Dorado Disposal is urging residents to properly dispose of batteries and battery-embedded items to prevent fire hazards. Batteries should never be placed in the trash or recycling; instead, tape the ends and place them in a designated battery bag. Disposal locations and hours are listed for Placerville, Cameron Park, and El Dorado Hills. Residents can also use the Waste Wizard tool or app to request battery bags and learn more about safe disposal practices.
Battery Disposal Guide: Safety tips, disposal methods, and locations. Call 530.626.4141. Use the app for more info.
