Arts & Craft Corner
Come get crafty with your friends and neighbors at the Arts & Craft Corner! The 2nd and 4th Friday of each month, head to Classroom B at the Cameron Park Community Center, to make fun projects lead by our amazing instructor. Projects vary each week and they are great to make for yourself or gift to a friend! Class runs for an hour to an hour and 15 minutes bi-weekly.

Tai Chi for Better Balance
“Moving for Better Balance” is a simplified 8 form program developed by Dr. Fuzhong Li of the Oregon Research Institute. This program includes warm up exercises, practice of Tai Chi forms, cool down and meditation, and includes a monthly assessment of participant’s condition based on selected physical tests. No Tai Chi experience necessary. $5 supply fee payable to instructor for documents on Tai Chi, stretching, and basic balance.

Perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat, and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong. Class focuses on all elements of fitness: cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance.

Tai Chi for Health
Daily practice of Tai Chi can help reduce high blood pressure, strengthen internal organs, improve coordination, balance and flexibility. Learn the 30-stance short form as well as stretches and some Chi Kung. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing.

A unique exercise class with an aim to gain flexibility and strength. Exercise at your own pace to find your edge without stretching in pain. This is an accepting and non-judgmental environment that will help bring agility and balance to your mind and body.
