Popsicle Stick Bookmark

Children of all ages will use popsicle sticks, crayons, glue, and googly eyes to decorate their popsicle stick to look like a bookworm. Children will be able to use this at a bookwarm for their back to school reading.

Spaghetti Lion

Children will create a lion face out of spaghetti noodles, lion shaped head out of paper, and glue. Children will glue spaghetti peice around the lion's head to make it look like a lion.

Games

Keep it Up:

Each team joins hands in a circle, then works to keep a balloon in the air without letting go. The team that lasts the longest is the winner!

What's your name:

kids gets a paper with letter A-Z where they do an action that has a letter in their name and do the actions until they spell their name completely.

Mother May I:

All children line up side by side except for the player who is the caller. The caller stands at a distance from the lined up players. He calls on each player in turn to take a number of steps toward him. The steps allowed are: baby steps, giant steps, and scissors steps. 

The player answers "Mother May I?" the mother answers: "Yes you may"

The player takes the given number of steps toward the caller. If the player forgets to ask permission after they get directions and takes steps toward the caller, they are sent back to the starting line. The first player to reach the caller is the winner and new caller.
