The Cameron Park Lake recreation area
is intended to provide enjoyment, relaxation, and beauty to all
visitors. It is the hope of
the Cameron Park Community Services District (CSD) that all those
who share in this facility will gladly show common courtesies to
others. Below are some specific rules which need to be followed.
PARK HOURS: Park
gates open at 7:00 a.m., and close at dusk
FEES: Beginning
April 1 through September 30, gate fees are charged for entry
into the park as follows:
CSD residents $3.00 per person
Non-CSD residents $5.00 per person
Seniors 55 and older $2 per person, resident or non-resident
Children 6 years old and younger are free of charge.
It is the responsibility of the reserving group to distribute passes to their guests.
RULES:
- No bicycles beyond bicycles rack.
- No loud boom boxes.
- No skim boards in swimming area.
- No motorized boats.
- No one under 21 allowed to consume
alcohol.
- No fishing from prohibited areas.
- No weapons of any kind permitted on
the premises.
- No glass containers on beach.
- No skateboards or rollerblades on tennis court or gazebo area.
- No dogs except for guide dogs for
the blind. Dogs are
not allowed in the park even if they stay in the vehicle.
VEHICLES: Motor vehicles may only
be operated on roadways and in parking areas. Vehicles are
only allowed on lawns or park interiors with permission of the
Park Supervisor. See enclosed vehicle policy.
LIFEGUARDS: No swimming is allowed without an
on-duty lifeguard. Lifeguards are provided on weekends only,
beginning second weekend on May, weather permitting, through the
first Monday in June and daily thereafter through
Labor Day weekend. Regular
lifeguard hours are 11:00 a.m. – 7: 00 p.m. Lifeguards can close
before the scheduled closing time when patron usage is not present.
TENNIS: The tennis
courts are based on a first-come, first-served basis; no reservations.
FISHING: CATCH
AND RELEASE FISHING ONLY. All fish must be returned
into the lake. Please avoid handling fish as much as possible. Please
do not touch the gills of the fish. GEAR
REGULATION: One fishing rod per Angler, NO BAIT
is allowed. Barbless hooks are encouraged. Please
pinch the hook barb with pliers. Anglers age 16 and older
must have a valid California fishing license VISIBLE at all times.
