Tim Israel has lived in Cameron Park for 30 years. He raised two sons who attended Ponderosa High School. He has a history of community service, particularly in supporting local youth sports. Tim enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities including skiing, boating, biking and camping.
Tim is a Registered Professional Engineer who has spent his career specializing in solidwaste engineering, sustainability, and alternative fuel development. Retired from Sacramento County, he now works for a company that focuses on development of sustainable energy solutions.
Tim will work hard to maintain Cameron Park’s high quality of life. Responsible fiscal management, increased fire protection and engaging recreational programs are Tim’s primary objectives while he holds the Director position.
